Another Broken Heart, by BurnsLikeAThousandScars Subscribe to rss feed for BurnsLikeAThousandScars♥

I gently dried my eyes
For about the 100th time
I carefully fixed my make up
So it looked like I was fine
Everyone sees a little girl
Whos too young to have real emotions
But I know I'm a little girl
Whos drowning in real emotions
Slowly again I start crying
Like a child who took a fall
I just couldn't help it
I was being stared at by them all
I run back inside
I slam my door
I reach inside
And throw out yet another broken heart

You are extremely talented. This is a powerful and meaningful piece. Every emotion we had as a child, if untreated, we take with us to our adulthood. I absolutely LOVE this poem!!
