I Couldn't See, by *~Mik@y1@~* Subscribe to rss feed for *~Mik@y1@~*

I couldn’t see,
The lies around you.
I couldn’t see,
My heart was bound to.
I couldn’t see,
No I couldn’t see,
I couldn’t see,
Right in front of me.
You said you’d be my fairy tale,
And make my dreams come true.
I was young, so in love,
So I believed you.
Now here I stand,
All alone.
Drying my eyes,
As my heart vanishes into the unknown.
I loved you dear,
With all my heart.
Until you,
Tore it apart.
Bright as the sun,
Your love blinded me.
Corrupting my judgment,
So unloyalty I could not foresee.
I can’t believe I trusted you,
After everything you’ve done.
I can’t believe I believed all your lies,
‘Cause I know you told a ton.
I was right when I thought,
You were too good to be true.
But ignoring my premonitions,
I completely fell for you.
I wonder if you’ll come back,
Wanting me one day.
But after all you put me through,
I’ll just tell you to go away. ©

Wonderful poem.It has all the shock and disbelief a person for themselves and the person that caused the hurt.
