Her wrists throb in pain
Under her shirt
No one knows she got hurt
The incident was last night
She was alone
Waiting for someone to come home
Her thoughts got the better of her
Looking in the mirror
Her mind was a blur
The way she looked, didn’t please
Was her mind, trying to tease?
Examining herself, every inch
The way she looked made her flinch
She waited and waited
No one came
It was the same story over again
Her boyfriend was gone, not coming back
Her heart broke in two, with one single crack
