Hiding Your Soul, by Shika Subscribe to rss feed for Shika

What is that?
A faded dream?
Fragments of a memory?
Where did you go?

Pit pat pattering of small feet
On the moss covered soil.
Hues of green
Shimmering in the sky.
Leaping in golden rays
Of sunlight.

I can't see you,
No.

Whispers in the wind,
Gentle kisses on my cheek.
The trees scrape their
boughs,
Creak, creak, creak.
Gentle music,
Weaving through my soul.

I can't see you,
No.

Breathe
In the life around me
Joining inner warmth.
Look with Gentle stares
Daylight so wonderful
So bright
Caressing my eyes
Almost burning.

I can't see you,
No.

Sweet honeydew
Cloying.
Bejewelled Creatures
Humming around
Dashing in courtship
Fluttering of joyous wings.

I can't see you,
No.

The music,
It hangs in the air.
Iredescent light
Clings to my skin.
A fair voice
Rejoices
In peace and joy.
My ears tingle
In delight.
I realise it
Is you who sings,
Words I'll
Never Forget:

"I've been with you,
All along.
Dancing in joy,
Yet Hidden
In the mask of flesh."

"I can't be seen,
With your eyes.
But felt within,
The drumming heart.
I am underneath,
Above,
Around,
The wonders that you feel.
I am here.
Never to leave.
I am part of you,
As you are part
Of me."
