Sometimes Moving Isn't Fun, by Anthony Cardon Subscribe to rss feed for Anthony Cardon

Sometimes Moving isn't fun.
I used to enjoy it
Not too long ago.

But since the time is trying to stop
It's going to break the flow.

My life is a mess when too much
Is going out my door.

I don't believe I have time enough
To clean up my littered floor.

Sometimes moving isn't fun.
I'm going to college
Far, far away.

Didn't think it would have
bothered me this way.

My dad wants to move
Because the blacks are still around.

I don't give a fuck on who's here
Cuz I want my family to stand it's ground.

Sometimes moving isn't fun.
I don't wanna come back
To some clean, airy home.

Cuz if it isn't my house
It's like using a contaminated, ugly, filthy comb.

Now, I don't want to sound like a bitch
Because I sure don't believe I am,
But sometimes it's hard to move
When things aren't settled down.

They hate this lovely town,
Because it's a bad influence
To their son (my brother)

But I've got to say this and I've got no choice,
Because moving sure isn't fun.

Not one bit.
