Definition of Fair, by Ladilyte Subscribe to rss feed for Ladilyte

Do you think it's fair for me to be all alone and have no
one to talk to?
While you sit on the phone for hours and chat away until
your cheeks turn blue?
Do you think it's fair for me to feel so much solitude even
when you're near?
While you brag on about what you've done, where you've been,
tell her your deepest, darkest fear?
Or is it fair for me to play the wife and no longer carry
the actual name?
While you give your undying attention to the other, she's
now your number one dame
I'm not sure of a lot of things, but I know I can say this
I don't think it's fair for me to have to sit back and watch
your earthly bliss
It's not fair for me to have to pretend behind closed doors
It's not fair for me to know, we're not together anymore
But the number one thing, above all else, that's not fair to
me
Is to watch your new love blossom...now how fair can THAT
be?
