WHAT SORROW ACTUALLY MEANS, by Devika Subscribe to rss feed for Devika

Today i saw a man
A man with his wife and kid
Sitting on the footpath
looking all so timid

He was asking every passerby
"can you help me?
I cant see my child anymore cry!!"
but people just walked on

He didnt like behaving this way
His eyes gave his emotions away,
He mustve once been a man with pride
But now...he had grief in his eyes

If he were alone..
He would fend for himself
But he had a family to take care of now...
A family that needed to be fed

He came from a village
where there was a draught
A village where the plants were parched
just as the peasants hearts

So as i sat in my car
I thought , " why am i so sad for?
Here is this man..with a burden on him
a man who has nothing to hold on to..."

We always see the smallest problem
and make it out to be a big tragedy
what we dont see...is that we still have it good
And we should be thankful to Lord Almighty

So i thank God..for making me who i am
For giving me a family , friends and the good life that i
have
and for showing me..things could be a lot worse
All this through the eyes of a sorrowful man......
