Sandcastle Scars, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Pine tree halo,
needle glare.
Concrete skies
and concrete paths
led you back again.
A wave percussion
breaks on every beat,
the rhythm unrefined.
These sand bricks
will wall you in
with just your thoughts;
seagulls cry questions,
the wind interrogates.
You are here,
you are nowhere
as lost as a strewn shell.
There is only nature.
So heal,
weathered heart,
let the storm errode
away the banks
you build.
These are
sandcastle
scars.
