Sunshine, by Mysti Subscribe to rss feed for Mysti

Sunshine on my face, it feels oh so warm.
I can't believe it's so cold outside, but the sun still
prevails.
The sunshine on my face, it makes me think of tomorrow.
Tomorrow the sun will shine, even brighter than before,
Because tomorrow time stops, on my first show.
I'll be singing for you, you'll be frozen in time,
I won't have to worry about being scared or afraid,
Because I know you're too kind to say anything, to move from
this spot.
The sunshine has lowered, I walk outside to think. The wind
speeds up around me, but it's all calm every where else.
I watch the people walk around me, interested and curious,
I stand up and walk through the park, singing my song
lightly.
Heads turn, children stop, and the teens all sing along.
This is how I know that I'll stop time tomorrow, that bright
sunshine will keep me from messing up.
