Black Rose, by Interlude Subscribe to rss feed for Interlude

A beautiful rose manages to grow,
Where all life fails to exist,
It fights for life,
And with every battle,
A part of it dies,
Soon it’s soul turns black,
Losing its old beauty,
To take up a new kind,
It’s petals lose it’s pure red,
The stem becomes a bent,
Still it fights on,
Some time soon,
The rose will lose its battle,
What will happen then?
Will the land become completely lifeless again?
Or will another brave soul,
Fight its way to life?
