Bleed, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

The real you just dissipated,
evaporared into the smoke.
I didn't know what you'd created;
an iron noose, for me to choke.
I just collected the tears,
soon became all of my fears.
You were what I needed most,
didn't realise you're a ghost.

Now I am cut,
lost to my arteries.
I am cut,
sliced by the misery.
I am cut,
you're what I need
so I just let it
bleed.

I gave all of me to you
but you became a different man.
These lips are turning blue,
I'll use volume while I can.
How could you watch it all?
Stand back and let me fall?
I thought you were my friend,
turns out you're just my end.

Now I am cut,
left in the cold rain.
Now I am cut,
nothing but icy pain.
I am cut,
you're what I need
so I just let it
bleed.

Do you remember, sweetheart,
how I gave you my life?
Do you remember, baby,
how you held the knife?

You slammed the door shut
and closed your eyes while you cut
but you're still what I need
so I still just let it bleed.
