Easy Breathing, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I see the sun
shining through the wispy
billows of smoke.
You exhale
in a sigh of contentment,
bask in the sun
and the warmth of my name.
And after the ice age,
I thaw in surrender;
the summer drifts me away.
The icicles still stab
but somehow, I can smile.
I inhale,
feel the barriers break,
the happy erosion inside.
Because you and me
should have been like this,
always.
Just sweet pulses
freed from their wires,
no slow electrocution.
Easy breathing.
