The Cycle Will Start Again, by BUBBA Subscribe to rss feed for BUBBA

As the night turns into day
And the light turns to dark
We watch them grow in many ways
With every little spark.

With that very first sound
And the smile that covers their face
From crawling on the ground
And Stinking up the place

The day that they come home
The wonders that we all felt
We cant wait for them to roam
The excitement makes us melt

And when they say dada
And start to hold the bottle alone
We know that the days are going away
Soon they’ll be leaving home

And so we take pride in those early days
Where we are truly in control
Where they do what we say
And give it their all

We cherish all those little memories
The ones where we are actually their best friend
We know that it is only time
When that will come to end

And when we rock them to sleep at night
When they ate the ice cream to fast
Looking up at the heavenly light
Just thinking back in the past

We know that our time is dyeing down
Like the hours of a day
When we have to say good bye to them
And drift off away

And as the day comes that we are no longer here
We just hope and pray
We taught them to be kind and dear
To be kind in many ways.

And then we tell them how much fun we had
And the time has come to end
Telling them to a good mom and dad
Cause this cycle will start again.
