Written On The Mirror, by MrsPeterson Subscribe to rss feed for MrsPeterson

In the closet up the stairs
To the left and in my room
Is mirror my mother gave me
Hand finished edges
And just a bit of dust
Make it worth a million
At least that is to me
Mom never had much time for me
She was much too busy
I was her only child
I don't think she ever knew me
It was on my wall
For 13 long years
But mama passed away
And I couldn't stop crying
One day when walking by
I looked into her mirror
Written in bright red lipstick
In mommas handwriting
Were words now burned in my mind
"I never got to say I love you
You make your mommy proud!"
