Love and this World, by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

I set aside these deep darkening hateful thoughts, and as
time accelerates or so it seems,
I try to make people understand what I mean,
But to understand should be by will not force,
While I say this, my voice begins to grow hoarse,
I think of the day of when my life comes to an end
And where the place will be that I pay for my sins,
As life goes on and time passes,
I think of all the dreadful deaths and everything crashes,
In the deepening abyss of sea or space,
On this world I do not know my place,
But I search and try to understand the meaning of why I live
or in other words a clear meaningful purpose of my own
existence,
I have yet to find anything since,
The thought of this crept into my clouded mind,
So far nothing, but I still need to find,
This purpose or this reason,
This time, it is my season,
To come back, but not with empty hands,
But as a man,
With something important brought along,
Not just something simple, but complex, like an inspiring
well written song,

I have found my purpose in life,
And I shall stand and fight,
For this reason I found to be on this world,
This reason is my beautiful, kindhearted, young girl,
That I hope to take care of from here on out,
This love I have no doubt,
Will not last a lifetime, but an eternity,
The only problem now is economy
And the fact that is shutting down
Everything, including our towns,
Resources are running extremely low,
And even though they do not admit, they do clearly know,
That soon, and soon enough,
Life will get incredibly tough,
And transportation will eventually stop,
Unless something pops,
Such as a new idea or invention,
We can no longer have suspicions,
But for people to know the facts and listen,
About what this would may in fact come to,
If only there was someone who knew,
An alternative for this problem,
When you tell the president about these problems,
All you hear is “Oh, we can solve them”
But yet there are words, with no act,
Even though they know these facts,
I speak of this not just to inform,
But also to warn
And to say
That to this very day,
Love is hard to find like the love I now have,
Eventually everything will be sad,
When you cannot find love at all,
And when this world completely falls,
(Find love while you can, the world was not meant to last
forever,
But love was, and it’s here to make things better…

(Bad Day, Life Without You, and Love and this World are all
older poems I currently found from my past…but nonetheless
enjoy reading them if you’d like.)
