Toxic, by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

This poison, that slides through your veins,
This evil material, that drives you insane,
It has always been with you, and forever will,
Until your life ends, as all your blood is spilled,
This thing that always leaves you confused, wondering what
is next,
This thing can also shine in a way, as your best,
But more depressingly to some it always seems to be,
It grows faster and more powerful than any flower or tree,
It can spread, and make important parts of your essence
missed,
This thing I speak of is life, something that in a way, is
always toxic.

I'm so sorry i just realized now that you had left a couple comments on my earliest work. I never really check them for comment because they were in the time when things would come to me and i would just post them. My first real finished poem was "see the dawn" you read that one but you might be interested in "Mixed Emotions" it has parts of "Hate and Neglect, A Single Tear, and Heaven's Gates" in it the earlier short sentences. I just posted a new one i wrote a couple days ago. It doesn't follow anything just expression. This poem is awesome I'm so glade that i took the time read you work. You wrote "may make you more interested in my writings" and I'm sorry that you felt that i wasn't interested in your writings i can be critical at first but i hope you know by now that i am very interested in your work.
