Cloud Ten, by MrsPeterson Subscribe to rss feed for MrsPeterson

I've climbed my way to here
I've climbed for so very long
I worked and worked my ass off
To be where I am now
I fought my way through darkness
And beat it to the sun
I held back the sorrow
But couldn't hold back the tears
I tried to make things better
But it wasn't meant to be
So I moved on to the next
The one who would hurt me more
I've started from the ground
And climbed the tallest trees
And when I found Cloud one
I fell down to my knees
The pain was so horrible
And I dragged my way on
There I sat perched upon
The edge of Cloud Two
Never did I find the love
That I was looking for
So I left again
To continue on my journey
I found a better cloud
Cloud Three as I would call it
But the rain soon fell
And there I wept again
Bleeding on Cloud four
Begging for my life
Limping on Cloud five
Thankful I'm alive
Growing up soon hurt the day
When I left for Cloud 6
And there I stayed for love
But that I never found
I made my climb
Through pain and tears
Climbing ever so slowly now
I climb to
Seven
Then Eight
And now I am on the cloud of dreams
The cloud everyone loves
Here I stand waiting
Waiting on Cloud 9
But I want so much more
I want to climb again
I love what I have found here
But what waits for me
On Cloud Ten???
