Trying To Make Optimism Shine., by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

I try to make things work, I try so very hard to make them
better,
But it is hard to do, when ones mind is clouded by stormy
weather,
I try to clear this as it blocks out the sun,
The darkness that creeps over, is difficult to make undone,
But I shall not give up, and I will feircly push optimism
back into my life,
I will no longer look at the negative side, or the bloody
side of this knife,
With the flip-side reflection of this blade, I will see an
all new more optimistic side of me,
I will show the world, the better person I can be,
Although it will be extremely challenging to pass this
obstacle that stands in front of my path,
In the end optimism shall shine, now, and forever last.

Wow .... this poem is very well written. "I will no longer look at the negative side, or the bloody side of this knife" was defiantly the high light of the poem for me. If you ever write a book of poetry i will be the first to buy it. Because i love everything about your work ...your so interesting.
