SOUL CRY, by karen straker Subscribe to rss feed for karen straker

It's amazing that yesterday we were chatting away,
And now we are so far apart today,
What could I have done so wrong,
I thought our friendship would have lasted long,
Why is it that you can't see,
All this silence is killing me,
I'm so tired of making the same mistake,
And one more heartbreak I just can't take,

You guys say you are not all the same,
So if it's not you, maybe it's the game,
Cause a million french men can't be wrong,
Or is the cd stuck? cause it keeps replaying this song,
When will this sagga ever end?
I hope it's soon so my heart will mend,
Why do people want love they say,
And when it comes calling they push it away,

Maybe the packaging is not always right,
But if you want a soulmate, the inside is what you should
like,
The old folks say 'love who loves you',
But we all know this is something most people don't do,
Could it be that my heart needs a retirement plan?
Should it's obituary read, death in search of a man?
Will we ever be joined in love you and I?
Will you some day answer my souls lonely cry?
