This is about going to sleep with the person you love. In my
case it's Michael :). I wrote this on the 18th of Novemeber
2008:

"I like it best in the dark.
After we have shut the curtains
And indulged in our 'amorous activities'.
The bedside light is on
And you get up to open the window.

It is a time when I am completely at peace:
Your eyes burn green amber as you drink me in willingly.
I too turn to goldlen liquid at your presence,
The warmth and the intimacy.
The flavour, the taste and the smell of being complete.

I can feel the sharp outside air
Turning me to life again;
The world indignently reminding me of its presence.
Investigating our private world, our Eden.
You remind me to set the alarm.

You always kiss me when you snap out the light;
Our disappointed faces hide in the new fleshy gloom.
Today, our time together is spent.
Is it not interesting that neither of us consider that
Tomorrow is another day?"
