Living Homeless, Hopeless, by LostSoul Subscribe to rss feed for LostSoul

I can't sleep at night, cause the poetry flows through me
My thoughts are of children living in the streets, homeless
Stranded, abandoned by love, living hopeless

It's easy to create babies, all you need is two
Don't need love or care just raging hormones combined
But what you forget is what's created inside
After that night, you forget what's brewing and you try to
hide
When you are done, you neglect and you forget and you throw
that baby aside

How could you care, when there was no love from the start
It's so easy for you to break a child's heart, you think
you're so smart
Not really, your too caught up in your own life
You want a husband or a wife, not some baby you'd rather cut
with a knife

No one ever said reality was easy, how could it when you
don't care
So you watch your television to forget and you stare
Deeply losing yourself in a fake world, when your child
needs someone that cares
And so the child runs away, thinking it will be better
Majority of children run away because of a broken home
They'd rather be in the street than try to build a home, so
they roam

They're caught up in habits, druggies and sex fiends
Cause what's the point of living, when nothing is worth
fighting
They'd rather try and forget than have anything, they
themselves become nothing

So what happens next, they find friends on the streets
They themselves make babies when they can't even take care
of themselves
But what else is there, it's what they know, they have no
sense of self
So now you have babies making babies, I supposed that's
okay
Since no one really cares anyway, what's the point of living
day by day

Wouldn't it be great to help someone, if they needed it
But how could you when they didn't ask for it
It's easy just go do it
Or you'll find yourself dreaming of it
