True By Heart; Liar By Choice, by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

Why can’t you just listen, and follow where your heart
leads,
Is it so hard to understand? Do I have to plead?
Going this direction, is evidently a bad decision,
It’s is creating a burning sensation, a negative fission,
That you bring about by lying all of the time,
Thinking you’ll get away with it, and that everything will
be fine,
But you do not understand, slithering your way through
obstacles is not the right way to go,
You of all people should understand and know,
For your heart is true,
And you know it too,
Every time when it tells you what to do,
It leads you right without you ending up confused,
Or hurt, even guilty through knowingly doing what is wrong,
You can stop this and turn it all around because it hasn’t
been that long,
Since you have been lying to us all,
Catch yourself before you fall,
To deep into a pit of lies,
Where no one lives and yet every one dies,
Hearing nothing but screams and nothing but cries,
Listen to your heart; your inside voice,
You can be true by heart, or a liar by choice.

This is a good poem. Fav line "Catch yourself before you fall, To deep into a pit of lies, Where no one lives and yet every one dies" You have such monumental lines in all your writings. Its good that your starting to write again but remember its healthy if you want to take a break. No one will judge you. I mean i had writers block but Turns out that i needed that break. It showed me how to tap into my sole and really pour out what I want. Now i don't pressure myself, i come up with poems every 2 weeks or so and its working for me. Felicia Mac
