Hand in Hand, by BrokenButterflyWings Subscribe to rss feed for BrokenButterflyWings

I turn away,
hiding rouged eyes
the silence engulfs us

I want his hand in mine
fear of rejection dissuades me
he'll think it's a joke

Not another thought,
our fingers touch
he grabs my hand

A warmth and safety rushes me
my pain thrust away
we remain there, in silence a while
