Stranger In The Night, by LostSoul Subscribe to rss feed for LostSoul

Could it be that a complete stranger has provided clarity,
Of things that be
How could someone like her see something in me,
That I don't see

Why does fate play with me?
Exclusively, respectfully I decline what's in front of me
At the same time I wonder why fate throws me
Into situations of things that can't be

But if I was her and she was me
We would throw away our misery
Cause we understand each other
Even if we had no prior history
Sometimes nothing is as clear as it should be

But yet I wonder of who this stranger is
	Such fierceness in her eyes
		such passion in her moves
			And fire in her voice
She caught me off guard limiting me without a choice

And as we say goodbye
And take our leave with separate lullabies
This stranger in front of me makes me not want to say
goodbye
Instead....
Makes me want to hold her and let her know that everything
is going to be alright
Cause this stranger understands me
And I understand her and we'll dream together in the night
Even if we live in separate lives at least we had that
night,
We showed each other's light

And I'll miss her and I hope she misses me
And I hope she finds her happiness
Cause someone like her deserves nothing less
What else can I say but God bless
