Your Deceitful Hour, by ♥ Leah ☺ Subscribe to rss feed for ♥ Leah ☺

I didn’t mean to walk in,
On your deceitful hour.
When I came upon you both,
It drained me of all my power.
I could not breathe,
I could not speak,
I could not stand,
My legs became weak.
So I stood behind the building,
Trying not to cry,
Making sense of all the things that didn’t add up,
Now I see the truth of the lie.
Should I try and confront you?
Or should I bite my tongue?
Should I tell of the deceitful thing I saw?
Should I ask you what I did wrong?
All of these questions,
Revolving around my head.
I hope, I pray, I was imagining things,
For without you, I’d sooner be dead.
