How I Loved You, How I Lost You, by ♥ Leah ☺ Subscribe to rss feed for ♥ Leah ☺

I woke up smiling again, with you on my mind,
Thinking I would never find another so sweet, so perfect,
The whispers of the wind speak of you,
The air that I breathe always thinking of you,

The pieces of my heart cried for;
your love,
your lust,
that look,
that touch,
those lips,
those eyes.

As if something the world created could ever be...
Perfection.

Walk down the street, the cold air sailing past me,
Step into the road so cosy, so familiar and friendly...
STOP.

The cold winds hit me like an oncoming train,
I feel my heart rip, burn into nothing,
Your lips on hers striking my delicate soul.

I feel numb.
Now I know.
How it feels.
To be broken.

You look up, see the distraught girl who loves you...

Silence.

Happy birthday, Juliet.
