It wasn’t that I wanted to
Cause yet another scar
It’s not the fact I want to do it
But happiness seemed so far.
If only people would understand
I’m sorry I keep letting them down
I’ve turned my life to no more than a mess
And I’m unable to turn it around.
So I’m sorry mother, I’m sorry father
For it’s you who I’ve let down the most
And the little girl you both once knew
She’s dead now, she’s just a ghost.
