Perfection, by . QUEENIE . Subscribe to rss feed for . QUEENIE .

prize winning
perfection
streakless
freakless
flat and concaved
a line drawn
faded right
touch of coulor
hint of light
the perception
and conception
of this
perfection
found in
an odd girl's
life.
her award
prize perfect
picture of self glory
something
so slight
and yet
holy
oh the way
the glimmer
reflects
the hope in
her young eyes
the perfection
she has created
was not
modeled on lies.
angles straight
light source
matching
the vanishing
of the lines
she stands back
looking
admiring
one more time
until her
perfection
is ripped
from her grasp
and torn to
pieces.
it meant nothing
and somehow
was everything
the purple hues
the greenest grass
and greyest panals
and door that wouldn't
fast...
somehow
one minor incident
has taken her mark
down a notch
and her perfection
is just a reflection
of her work
and of her past.
