Uncaring, by Chalan Subscribe to rss feed for Chalan

We live in a world that is filled with deceit and
greed. Where money rules the world.
People don't care when you are down and out.
They would rather walk all over you than stop
and help you out.
People live in a selfish bubble where the world
revolves around them. Their rights and wants come
first above all else.
And if someone suffers in the meantime they see
that's the person's problem and not theirs and look
the other way.
In this cold selfish world you have to watch your
own back because no one will watch it for you.
Even the government, who was created to help protect
you will look for ways to screw you over in one way
or another.
We live in a world that no longer looks to God for
guidance. We all have seem to forgotten him and
the sacrifices he has made for us.
We live in a world that will go for bloodshed and call
it Justice in the name of owning a piece of dirt.
The governments refuse to find cures or relinquish the cure
to diseases such as Cancer and Aids. They would rather watch
these patients suffer and die for the sake of billions of
dollars.
Families are being ripped apart by hatred and hurt. And no
one really cares about the little lives that are truly
affected by it. They use the "The Best Interest of the
Child" as an excuse to get what they want.
How long must people live in a world filled with greed,
deceit and suffering before we all wake up and realize what
is going on around us and DO something about it?
When are we going to start realizing our mistakes and do our
best to make it right again.
When are we going to turn this world around and start living
an honest, contributing life? And all us give each other a
helping hand. Whether it be letting a grudge go or sitting
down and giving a listening ear. Or helping a family out in
need.
This life we are living is worthless. There is nothing
honorable to gain from it.
