When you thought I wasn't looking, by Lynn Cowan Subscribe to rss feed for Lynn Cowan

When you thought I wasn't looking; I saw you
hang my first hand print on the refriegerator
door, and I wanted to use my hands for good.

When you thought I wasn't looking; I saw you
feed a stray animal, and I learned to be kind.

When you thought I wasn't looking; I saw you
make my favorite meal, and I learned to be
forgiving to others as God forgives us.

When you thought I wasn't looking; I saw you
say a prayer for me, and I learned to talk with
God, and believe he'd always be near.

When you thought I wasn't looking; I looked and
wanted to say: Thank you for everything that I have
learned because of you.

My Mother.
