Piece by piece, by If It Wasnt For The Broken Hearts Where Would I Be Subscribe to rss feed for If It Wasnt For The Broken Hearts Where Would I Be

You broke me into pieces,
You tore me all apart,
But I still glued the pieces together,
And loved with all my heart,
But now that’s all gone now,
And I’m broken in two,
So piece by piece,
That’s how I’ll let go of you,
I’ll hide all the pictures,
Take them out their frames,
Paint a smile on my face,
Pretend I’m not in pain,
I’ll delete all the messages,
I still have in my phone.
You declaring undying love,
Promises never to leave me alone,
I’ll delete you as my other half,
And delete the pictures too,
Because my heart cant take it,
Looking at reminders of you,
I’ll leave you with my furniture,
Just leave it all behind,
Because I cant stand the memories,
Nostalgia is far too unkind,
I’ll hide away in a box,
The baby book and my diamond ring,
Out of sight, out of mind,
Cover up how deep it was, call it just a fling,
I broke you into pieces,
I know I did you wrong,
But I know we have to walk away now,
And life just carries on,
My life keeps moving forward,
But without you I don’t want it to,
So piece by piece,
That’s how I’ll get over you.
