Revenge, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I went to the cops today.
I betrayed you baby,
just like you betrayed me.
They scribbled it down,
blue ink on white refill.
Now it's just a matter of time.
Time...
I still count the days:
34 since my suicide attempt
and now I can count the days
'til. you. go. down.
It was time to play karma
'cos darling, you wouldn't help me.
Maybe if you'd just torn my heart out
things would be different.
But you tore it out,
threw it on the floor
and spat on it.
Pushed me to suicide
and then pretended I didn't exist.
"I'll help you," you said,
"I want to be your friend," you said.
Ha! More lies from the liar.
Revenge isn't sweet,
it's just fair.
I wonder when you'll hear the sirens,
sweetheart.
