Fergie Time , by Darren Oxton Subscribe to rss feed for Darren Oxton

The games ninety minutes, or so people say,
But not if Red Fergie can have it his way,
Ninety-six minutes and leaving it late,
United will score, I’ll tell you that mate,

You feel for the Blues, they’ve had such bad luck,
Then Fergie starts dishing the old mind games muck,
‘I thought we were strong, the way that we played’,
But really, how much was that referee paid?

Devils, been riding their luck through the years,
As poor Sparkie Hughes tries hiding his tears,
Then Bellamy punches a fan in the face,
But surely the stoppage is more a disgrace?

Never mind City, it’s not the end of the line,
Just never discount, that you’re on Fergie time
