Abyss, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

All i have is hope
for that which i cannot control
i am treading a slippery slope
and below lies a bottomless hole

if i slip and fall
there will be no turning back
there is no one left at all
my life lines are all slack

the sensation of falling
can be very decieving
for the side i am clawing
and for air am i heaving

I lay there face down in the dirt
my walls shattered and broken beside me
they saved me from the fall but could not hold back the
hurt
i scream out my emotions in way of a plea

i know not what to do
around the darkness do i grope
i mutter a thanks to you
the girl who threw me her rope
