New Door, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

The smile that i wear
it hides more than it shows
it hides every little tear
that you try to expose

I will not break down and fall
in front of the girl that i want
for you i will risk it all
for your feelings i will hunt

but never in plain sight
i will watch you from afar
while my emotions are costantly locked in fight
every battle leaves a new scar

these scars are not of flesh
but of feelings torn and ripped
if not for me never would there have been this mess
however i cannot help i slipped

and fell for you so far
but now i hide it better than before
because even after hitting bottom so hard
I know i have opened a new door
