Self-Inflicted, by Tikva Subscribe to rss feed for Tikva

Finding pleasure in this pervasive, self-inflicted pain,
It torments me in every imaginable sense
yet I indulge myself despite it,
Just to hold you one last time,
Irrepressible tears rolling off my cheek
onto a familiar shoulder,
Heaven and hell in the same realm,
You are needle in my arm, the nothingness I want to feel,
Desiring passion for something other than this numbness,
but you're the only thing that's real.
