Santa Claus’s Advice, by Craney Subscribe to rss feed for Craney

Santa Claus came off from his red sleigh
After traveling from North so far away
Children from the public school walked by
Doris with her brother Steve so shy
Ho ho ho my children how are you?
What's your name and then how old are you?
Don't be frightened rabbits I am your friend
And my love to you will never end
Sister took the courage "We're ok
Just came over watch your big sleigh"
And my name is Doris, I am twelve years old
Hey come back you Steven, do what you’ve been told!
Yes, he is my little brother, only eight
Yesterday, he broke our mother’s plate
For the math I always get A
I don’t have much time for foolish run and play
Steve my little brother what to say
Getting D and F, attention no pay”
Santa Claus looked over deadly scared lad
“Anyway to see you both I am so glad
And it would be such relieve
If you both decide to go on The Christmas Eve”
Steve start hesitating, “I don’t know
I was planning watch with friends some hockey show”
Doris looked at brother with resent
“What a second, I don’t understand
Didn’t you forget - you promised, Steve
That you would come along with us on The Christmas Eve
Santa Clause, please, could you tell him
Steve should stop to follow voice of his selfish whim”
Santa Claus looked at Steve again
Holding in his hand a golden chain
“If you gave the word keep it up
Not, then my dear friend - SUCK UP!!!”
