Creed of My Lullaby (Homeless Project 3 of 10), by LostSoul Subscribe to rss feed for LostSoul

We all live, we all die
That's the creed of my lullaby
Tears jerking of this broken life
Nothin' follows but fruitful of strife

You got hard hittin'
Blood splatterin'
Jaws droppin'

This is no ordinary life
But it's the only thing you know
So you go with the flow
Life goes on like a show

Verbal abuse
What's the excuse?
Physical abuse
You let loose
Emotional abuse
Self accuse

You stare in the mirror
You don't like what you see
Start writin' a letter
To tell forget about me

I'm gonna find me brighter days
Instead of you hittin' me, I'll find sun soft rays
It's time for me to get away

Livin' at times is hard
I find it difficult to deal with the cards
I'm gonna take the car
Move somewhere far

Even if it means living in the streets
Using cardboards as my sheets
Even if I have to cheat
As long as I'm not gettin' beat
Take the pressure of the heat
