Samhain Homage, by TWIGGY Subscribe to rss feed for TWIGGY

The spirits stir, the room grows colder
The witch's brew bubbles, the scent growing bolder.
Cats gather 'round the hearth, they hiss and they fight
as the dark shadow passes o'er our world
on Samhain night.

But 'tis a shadow we should not fear
for 'tis only those we hold dear
come to visit us this day
whilst the veil 'tween worlds thins
and grants wisdom herein.

Now is the time!
Honor those you hold dear
while they are stirring close enough to hear.

Morning light washes all away
the dearly departed will no longer hold sway
over this world as the veil returns
having granted us this one night to earn
the right to commune with the spirits evermore
and receive their gift of long forgotten lore.

Those who guide and keep us safe
in loving kindness connected by Fate
for all eternity
Blessed Be.
