Moving on?, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

fingers running through my hair
warm breath against my neck
no need for clothing we are bare
when she leaves, my emotions no more than a wreck

moaning softly into my ear
never wanting to leave my touch
how long can i stand to have you near
what will i feel when you leave me with such

these thoughts haunt my dreams
wake me within a cold sweat
my heart is exploding at the seams
over these things i must not fret

for i only must sit back and see
the smile she brings to my face
within her eyes it is me
after i am gone, will there be a trace

of the smile i brought out
of the happiness i gave her
or will there be nothing more than doubt
like my voice was never heard?
