A Hopeless Land., by StoryOfAGirl Subscribe to rss feed for StoryOfAGirl

Hope in a hopeless land,
You would never give in.
You would continue to struggle,
Always fighting against the sand.

The snow that fell to the ground,
It chilled your bones.
It whispered to you stories,
About Broken wings and colored stones.

The sun that woke the world,
It worried your heart.
It tampered with your hopes,
Though you knew you would fall apart.

The rain that saturated the earth,
It disguised your tears.
It showed you your pain,
The reasons for your endless fears.

The cloud that darkened the sky,
It reminded you of everything.
It showed you the horror,
The suffering today would bring.

You were sure you'd go nowhere,
And yet you continued to fight.
You kept getting back up,
Trying desperately to reach a light.

And even though you knew,
You would never give in.
Always keep fighting,
Forever trying to win.

You had the hope, in a hopeless land.
