Stargazing At The Moon (Hold My Tongue), by Lovecrafter Subscribe to rss feed for Lovecrafter

I never wanted to hurt anyone
I only dreamed of a place in your sun
I know its her eyes your hopes are hung
So I'll hold my tongue

Because I have more of an empty space to fill
I'll love you more than she ever will
I know I'd be a tough rule to bend
Seasons change and so does the wind

I think it's best that I just forget
How can I win what I can't regret
I know how it feels to fall apart
How could I break another girl's heart

This is a very personal poem, but I trust you guys so I'll
tell its story. Okay...There is this guy I kinda like. I
know it's so jr. high to still get crushes, but
he's...special. However, he's in love with this other girl.
He has tried his best to be her boyfriend, but they just are
not a couple. They've gone to dances together, and I have
seen them dance. If you could only see his face at those
times, you would understand my predicament. Another however,
most guys at my school don't necessarily go for me. I'm a
tad bit thick but not fat, I mean I work out a lot. I think
someone told him I have crush on him, but he is sweet enough
not to say anything. He sits next to me now at recess, but I
don't know if it is out of pity or friendship. Anyway, I
think this girl may like him now, but he does not show much
interest in her. Before anyone goes crazy with the comments,
we are the same age , but he is a grade below me. He held
back for football one year. I am a junior this year, so I my
hands are kinda tied. For those who are still reading this,
thank you for your patience. Now I put my trust in you all
to tell me what to do.

leave it. men should be men, and unless he starts giving you more obvious signs I really dont think you should risk the heartache. Better to be quiet until you can no longer hold your tongue, or you no longer need to.
