I'm Going Home Tonight, by Lovecrafter Subscribe to rss feed for Lovecrafter

I'm going home tonight
You can't stop my trembling hands

I'm weary of this life
But strong enough to walk foreign lands

I'm packing up my bags
On my back they sit heavily with thoughts

I'm tying my last shoe
The journey has already cast its lots

I'm kissing you all goodbye
Still you sleep in your warm, secure beds

I'm headed out the door
Slamming it hard enough to rattle heads

I'm tredding down the quiet street
My footfalls pound with the cool moonlight

I'm dissappering fast now
I told you that I meant to go home tonight
