No One Would Know, by Alex J Subscribe to rss feed for Alex J

She walks alone
And never says a word.
She changes her tone,
But so does the bird.

It cheeps away
Her tears silently flow.
She wishes it would change
Then no one would know.

She'd stand in the rain
Let it fall on her face
And wish for it to wash away her pain
And her fall from grace.

The bird flies away,
She wishes she could
Or have another day
Or start another book.

She shuts off her brain
To the world outside
And listens to the pain
Her heart has to hide.

She wishes it would stop,
That all the pain would just go.
Then she could just drop
And no one would ever know.
