Sarah Jean, by NINI Subscribe to rss feed for NINI

She shows smiles but really frowns
She laughs out loud and cries out softly
The world around her is moving fast but she sees it moving
slow
What can she do?
There's no place to go

She wakes up every morning thinking "Here we go again,
another day without a friend."
She goes to school and does her best
But when she comes home there's nothing left

She's not allowed to go out or have friends
Her dad keeps her locked away from the world
He claims it's a bad place she should never see

She wants to rebel but can't
She's been trained her whole life to obey
She can't take it anymore
She just wants to get away

Who is this girl I speak of?
Turn to the news and look at the bottom of the screen
