making plans with me
apparently a lost cause
they're never the same as we want them to be
i nod my head and smile, no time for pause

i am a patient figure, waiting for the right time
plans falling apart around me, again and again
my words go unheard, making of me a mime
it feels that to be with me is a sin

dismissed so easily, left to wonder and wait
looking at my phone expecting the screen to alight
am i not something to appreciate
i lay here wondering this, as i wait out another night

troubled sleep and nightmarish dreams
these are what await behind my eyes
the bide there time hiding behind happiness's gleams
i stay awake now so i dont see the lies

playing through my head
i do not remember where it is these thoughts emerge from
i am holding my phone, upon my bed
shaking, and waiting for the sunrise to come

This is really good! The words flow together really nicely and feel the same way sometimes
