Three Friends, by suzieQ Subscribe to rss feed for suzieQ

A sad thing I just realized
Is that all my recent verse
Has been sad and somewhat dull
Maybe even taken a turn for the worse

So I will write of three close friends
If you think you are one, say THAT’S ME
I will say no names, or specific clues
And with that, here’s a poem of glee

Person number one is a wonder to behold
Confidence weights his every breath
No stone unturned, no cave unexplored
Until nothing but awkwardness is left

Person number two is a spirited soul
Nature is his muse, his passion
He spends most of his day among fluffy clouds
He sets his own pace, his own fashion

Person number three is linked almost by blood
A firecracker full of life, joy and fun
She assisted me with assertion -and guts
A demon disguised as a cracked out nun

So have fun discovering who you may be
I know I had fun writing about you
Please keep me on track, keep me happy
So my poems don’t wind up in the slue 

hmm, a clever piece it is, you remove the names of humans and replace them with numbers? haha good writing
