shinning bright like the August sun
the next you were gone
faded
fast as the summer 
now it is fall and the days are dark and cold without you
i know that once again the sun will shine
but you i've lost forever

very emotional . . . this is a good poem . . . try messing with the format it will compliment your poetry nicely
