The Beginning, by MySurrender Subscribe to rss feed for MySurrender

When life began
I was just an egg
And now I've grown
It is all too complex.
My mind is swamped with thoughts of stuff.
My body is etched with lines and lumps.

When freedom began, the shackles kicked in.
The burden just grew and there is no end.
Smile when I cry and laugh when I fear.
The world is my enemy
So it seems, my dear.

Let me take a pill to chill.
Breathe deep so as not to freak.
Let's pretend that all is well
As life is just a word like hell.
