The thought that haunts me now
that causes me to stare off into space in the middle of an
intense conversation
making me want to actually talk to you
causing me to retreat into the evil chamber in my brain
i try to never go to
the place if i slip into
it's nearly impossible
to find an exit

that thought,
the thought that did i even really know you?
till now i didn't believe you actually could lie to me
about that
because you've already lied to me

if you aren't who you say you are
who you act like you are
pretend to be..


then who are you?
